# $KUJI (High Cap Layer 1)

### Reason for initiating a FUD campaign against them:

On **21st March**, when $KUJI was at $3, an anonymous person created a FUD campaign against Kujira. \
The main goal was to **achieve a price target of $1.50** (-50% decline) at a strong support level for **re-accumulation.** \
\
At $3, the chart was at the neckline of a **powerful H\&S** (head and shoulders) pattern at a high time frame. It could either invalidate the pattern by breaking upwards or validate the H\&S and break downwards. It was at a crucial point where the campaign creator would like to ensure **downside movement** and with it, brings lots of selling pressure according to TA.&#x20;

### Main challenges:

* **Cult-like community**: Part of the community are made up of Luna-tics who are fervent to Kujira.&#x20;
* **Important Price Point**: Many teams often reserve the most bullish announcements to be released at such crucial levels.
* **Growing TVL**: Over $10mil locked and TVL growing upwards in a healthy trend.
* **Capable Team**: An experienced & diligent team who builds creatively and tirelessly.
* **Large Ecosystem**: Huge backings from ecosystem projects and those building on top of $KUJI.&#x20;
* **Reduced Selling Pressure:** 100% fully circulating, no additional unlocks, emissions etc.
* **Top-Tier KOL Support**: Endorsements from prominent KOLs such as RVCrypto, The Wolf of Defi, Trader Rocko, Cevo, Kamino, Defi Panda and Distilled Crypto.

### Actions Taken by Fluffies:

* **FUD Collection**: AI Agents compiled over 30 instances of $KUJI FUD from Twitter.
* **Research and Strategy**: The research team identified key pain points to create several FUD threads and Telegram comments.
* **Community Infiltration**: More than 30 Telegram accounts (including both Fluffies and bots) joined the $KUJI community.
* **Initiation of FUD**: The campaign began on March 22nd, where the price was hovering at the crucial neckline of the H\&S pattern.
  * **Twitter**: Over 15 accounts were used to create threads and post negative comments on every promotional post. AI agents were deployed to spam likes, retweets, and tags on influencer posts.
  * **Telegram**: For several days, when moderators were inactive, Fluffies heavily promoted FUD. When moderators were present, Fluffies engaged in trolling and light FUD, creating a negative atmosphere within the community. AI agents identified existing FUDders to recruit them and DM-ed new members with FUD to discourage them from buying.
* **Leveraging Past Fears**: FUD were revolved around the narrative of $KUJI becoming the next $LUNA and for team's refusal to open source their coding...etc. By expanding on these topics, Fluffies were able to trigger PTSD by bringing back and rekindling past scares.
* **KOL Targeting**: Smart wallet tracking identified key KOLs holding $KUJI. Approached with FUD, several of them sold their holdings and cut off support.
* **KOL Engagement**: Using our smart wallet tracker, we identified several mid-tier KOLs' wallets holding $INJ/$OMSO/$ATOM and approached them with $KUJI FUD. Several KOLs were interested & happy to join the FUD effort to downplay $KUJI & promote their own bags.
* **Partnership Pressure**: Applied pressure on partnership and ecosystem projects to sever ties and collaborations with $KUJI.

### What did $KUJI team do:

* **Ignored FUD**: The team disregarded Fluffy Fudders' official FUD announcement.
* **Rejected Termination Fee**: They chose not to pay the termination fee to secure permanent immunity against FUD.
* **Banned Accounts**: Banned multiple Telegram accounts engaged in FUD activities.
* **Ongoing Development**: Continued to build, update, and establish new partnerships with projects and KOLs.
* **Increased Leveraged Positions:** Kujira Foundation took loans using $KUJI as collateral to leverage and deploy across the ecosystem.

### Outcome (Updated):

* **Price Impact**: $KUJI was hovering at neckline support at $3 when the FUD campaign commenced. Within 3 weeks, the price plummeted to $1.50 (-50%), and within 4 months, it fell to $0.25 (-92%).
* **Financial Losses**: The team failed to recognise the impact of leveraged positions, market conditions and the power of FUD, hence incurred significant financial losses.
* **Acquisition and Team Removal:** $KUJI has been acquired by $RUNE. The original team has stepped down for a new managing team to take over after being liquidated and owing a huge debt.

### **Areas for Improvement (Updated)**:

* **Use of media publicity**: There was a lack of FUD media publications to leverage for many pain points surrounding $KUJI .\
  \
  **Correction**: If future budgets allow, our research team would produce more FUD articles to be publicised on major news outlet for FUD to spread rapidly across holders and normies alike.<br>
* **Campaign Duration**: The campaign took too long to end, even after all price milestones were achieved, resulting in further capitulation, price decline and liquidation. \
  \
  **Correction**: For a legit project like $KUJI, it has never been our end goal to destroy it. \
  Once our objectives had been met, we should have anticipated further price action, ceased the campaign earlier and be proactive to act to prevent further mishaps.

### Post Campaign Sentiment (Updated):

Fluffy Fudders are devastated to discover what has happened to $KUJI several months after our FUD campaign has ended. We were taken by surprise when $KUJI team utilised more leverage to quench FUD and stimulate growth, resulting in huge debt being incurred from liquidations.

We understood it is our mission to FUD & we sincerely hoped that our campaign has prevented people from buying $KUJI right after it broke down from a high time frame H\&S bearish pattern.

Nonetheless, it has NEVER been our intention to see a promising project with a diligent team getting wiped off from the crypto space. Unlike many scams and larps, we do love to see projects like $KUJI flourish and succeed in the long term.

Our hearts go out to the new $KUJI team, its community and holders, with the hope that they will be made whole and much more.&#x20;
