# $MINER (Low Cap ERC404)

### Reason for initiating a FUD campaign against them:

The protocol was hacked, and the team took a snapshot only after both the hacker and numerous holders had sold their assets. As a result, many major holders were deliberately excluded from receiving the airdrop for the relaunch. The team showed no intention of addressing this issue and began banning anyone who mentioned it.

The FUD campaign was launched in early **February 2024**, coinciding with the **relaunch** of $MINER.

### Main challenges:

* **KOL Cabal Token**: A coordinated group of key opinion leaders (KOLs) promoting the token.
* **Strong Narrative**: Narrative on point, first-mover advantage, and hype surrounding $PANDORA.
* **Bullish Market**: An overall positive market trend and altcoin season boosting interest.
* **Active Team**: An experienced and diligent team making 2-3 announcements daily.
* **Ongoing Development**: Regular updates and active development efforts.
* **Top-Tier KOL Support**: Endorsements from prominent KOLs such as Elontrades, El Mago, ChillTRD, Evon1er, Pow, Eurosniper, and Woopig.

### Actions Taken by Fluffies:

* **FUD Collection**: AI Agents compiled over 20 instances of $MINER FUD from Twitter.
* **Research and Strategy**: The research team identified key pain points to create several FUD threads and Telegram comments.
* **Community Infiltration**: More than 30 Telegram accounts (including both Fluffies and bots) joined the $MINER community.
* **Initiation of FUD**: The campaign began on February 19th, one day after the relaunch, while the team was still disoriented and busy.
 * **Twitter**: Over 10 accounts were used to create threads and post negative comments on every promotional post. AI agents were deployed to spam likes, retweets, and tags on influencer posts.
 * **Telegram**: For several days, whenever moderators were inactive, Fluffies heavily promoted FUD. When moderators were present, Fluffies engaged in trolling and soft FUD, creating a negative atmosphere within the community. AI agents identified existing FUDders to recruit them and DM-ed new members with FUD to discourage them from buying.
* **Media Tactics**: Published security alerts and negative news articles on high-traffic platforms, using $MINER’s previous hack incident as a case study.
* **Alerting KOL**: Smart wallet tracking identified key KOLs holding $MINER. Approached with FUD, 90% of them sold their holdings and cut off support.
* **Partnership Pressure**: Applied pressure on partnership and ecosystem projects to sever ties and collaborations with $MINER.
* **Community Trust Erosion**: Deployed bot attacks to significantly lower the community trust score on Dexscreener and Dextools.
* **Scam Warnings**: Contacted token sniffers and info bots to issue scam warnings.
* **Market Manipulation**: Advised market makers and major liquidity providers to reduce ETH liquidity and add significant sell-side $MINER liquidity at price resistance levels on Uniswap V3.

### **Actions Taken by the $MINER Team:**

* **Ignored FUD**: The team disregarded Fluffy Fudders' official FUD announcement.
* **Rejected Termination Fee**: They chose not to pay the termination fee to secure permanent immunity against FUD.
* **Blocked Accounts**: Blocked several Twitter accounts involved in spreading FUD.
* **Banned Accounts**: Banned multiple Telegram accounts engaged in FUD activities.
* **Buybacks**: Conducted buybacks of over 20 ETH from the treasury at low prices.
* **Ongoing Development**: Continued to build, update, and establish new partnerships with projects and KOLs.

### **Outcome:**

* **Price Impact**: $MINER peaked at $800 when the FUD campaign commenced. Within 3 days, the price plummeted to $190 (-77%), and within 3 months, it fell to $23 (-97%).
* **Financial Losses**: The team failed to recognize the impact of Fluffy's campaign and incurred significant financial losses.
* **Communication Breakdown**: The team ceased posting on Twitter and muted their Telegram channel after their efforts proved ineffective.
* **Final Collapse**: Ultimately, the team gave up, removed liquidity, and the token became a honeypot.

### **Areas for Improvement:**

* **Telegram Account Bans**: Many Telegram accounts were banned prematurely due to overly aggressive FUD. \
 \
**Correction**: Utilizing data from AI agents on ban frequency, a more effective strategy would have been to focus on subtle, soft FUD and trolling to avoid detection and account bans.
* **Influencer and KOL Engagement**: There was insufficient influencers and KOLs FUDding. \
 \
**Correction**: Fluffies should have collaborated with influencers and KOLs, offering incentives to encourage them to participate in the FUD campaign.
* **Campaign Duration**: The campaign ended too soon, allowing the price to rebound from its lows. \
 \
**Correction**: If future budgets allow, extending the campaign would ensure the complete destruction of the targeted project, preventing any potential recovery or exit pumps.

### **Post-Campaign Sentiment:**

Fluffy Fudders took pride & great satisfaction in completing campaigns against clear scams and deceptive teams. The $MINER team and their moderators were found to be extremely rude, unhelpful, scamming and unprofessional.

This aligned perfectly with our principles and made it an obvious decision to pursue an aggressive FUD campaign until $MINER was completely eradicated.

We did not hold back and felt a strong sense of accomplishment witnessing the significant price decline resulting from our efforts. We hope our FUD campaign has served as a warning and helped protect many unsuspecting traders.
