# Stage 7: Target Eliminated
This stage could have been easily avoided if the team of the targeted project, or anyone in their community, had addressed the situation by paying a **FUD termination fee** at any given point.
Had they done so, the project would have gained **permanent immunity** against future FUD campaigns.
Prudent teams and tightly-knit communities understand the value of marketing and the i**mportance of combating FUD**. They act decisively to address and eliminate any threats of FUD.
On the other hand, teams that are **indifferent** tend to **neglect their community** by choosing to do nothing, relying on blocking & banning, while watching their project descend into a sea of red candles.
As Fluffy Fudders' campaign progresses through Stages 1-7, it becomes evident which projects cannot withstand even a single wave of FUD. Teams that are clueless and unable to address FUD, leaving things to "resolve on their own," are typically scams and larps which should **have been long gone**.
